Italy / Piedmont
A top quality Gavi with proper depth, concentration, texture and panache.

Aromas of flora, citrus and green apple combined with more complex hints of frangipane. The palate has apple and lemon characters, and an appealing weight and minerality. The finish is textural, long and defined.

Mountain Vineyards Chardonnay 2016, Julien Schaal   £14.30
South Africa / Western Cape
Burgundian style Chardonnay produced by a Frenchman in South Africa!

A super refined and elegant wine – the cooler climate in Elgin allows for a longer ripening period and the great fruit quality shines through. Just the right amount of creamy fruit, crisp minerality and cleansing acidity.

Serve with a creamy crab linguine (but no chili!)

Verdicchio di Matelica Vigneti del Cerro 2017, Cantine Belisario  £14.30
Italy / Marche
Produced from a single vineyard located at 360 meters above sea level, with yields kept low to accentuate the unique character of the vineyard. The wine has hints of ripe grapefruit, subtle apricot and a hint of lemon on the finish. Texturally it is quite rich, yet refreshing acidity and minerally overtones lend a fresh and lingering character to the wine.

Lovely with Pan-fried chicken breasts with sage.
