Producer notes – The Whispering Hill Vineyard in Mount Barker provides perfect growing conditions for Riesling. The vines, overlooking the Porongurup Mount Ranges to the north east are over thirty years old and produce fruit of great intensity & complexity.  The 2020 vintage at Capel Vale Wines was a tremendous vintage resulting in lower yields with exceptional quality fruit, high flavour concentration and good natural acidity.
