Casa Del Bosque
Casa Del Bosque Pequeñas Producciones Syrah 2015
Chile / Casablanca
Andy's Tasting Notes
Complex and full-bodied. Located in the coolest, westernmost area of the Casablanca Valley from 3 different vineyard blocks planted on red clay over granite. Low yields and meticulous winemaking deliver a beautifully aromatic and texturally intense Syrah, with blackberry, sweet spices and truffle. Lovely purity and freshness. Decant before serving.

Casas del Bosque was founded in 1993 by Juan Cuneo Solari and was one of the first wineries in the Casablanca Valley. Today it is still family owned and managed. The Cuneo’s have 245 hectares of vines in Santa Rosa on the west side of the Casablanca Valley. The Casas del Bosque philosophy is based on the constant search for excellence. Quality instead of quantity is at the heart of their viticultural practices, as they strive to produce only the best wines possible.
