David Finlayson Camino Africana Cabernet Franc 2016, Edgebaston
South Africa / Stellenbosch
Andy's Tasting Notes
Lush and velvety with superfine tannins giving balance and structure. Raspberry fruit and hints of mint, spice and gentle smoky oak. There is more than a hint of a top quality modern styled St Emilion in this wine. What puts this wine in the ‘really good’ bracket though is its sleek, generous and seamless style.
“This wine signifies something truly special to me as a winemaker and is part of my journey in life and wine in South Africa, hence the name, Camino Africana, “The African Way” David Finalyson
