Hexamer Riesling Trocken Schlössbockelheimer In Den Felsen 2018, Weingut Hexamer
Germany / Nahe
Andy's Tasting Notes
This is an intriguing dry Riesling which is ripe and full flavoured yet deliciously balanced and expressive. The philosophy at this estate is to late harvest and induce fermentations that are naturally long and slow, imbuing the wine with rich yet super crisp peach and mango fruit. It’s very fragrant and aromatic, and for all its exuberance there is very precise and cleansing minerality and acidity lurking in the background. From a highly reputed vineyard with a long history of excellence.
