This 15 ha. estate in the hamlet of Ungstein, just outside Bad Dürkheim, is at the forefront of the development of Pfalz wines and winemaking, having been a pioneer of the recent establishment of the Grosses Gewächs (Grand Cru) classification. It is now regarded as one of the leading estates of Pfalz, highly rated by such respected international experts as Hugh Johnson, amongst others.
