A great value estate bottled Douro red with real panache, freshness, concentration and excellent harmony.  Lots of hedgerow berry fruit, lovely aromatic and floral intensity, and a melange of wild herbs, spice and cocoa on the long finish.

A field blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barocca, Tinta Roriz and Tinto Cao.

Interestingly the largest organic wine estate in the Douro. The dry growing season limits the growth of competing vegetation and reduces the risk of vine and grape damage. No herbicides are used and wild grasses are controlled with the use of handheld strimmers and tractor mowers.
